Gigi's raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital

The Harvey Centre’s Gigi’s Hair & Beauty has joined John Frieda and some of hairdressing’s biggest names to support HAIRraising, a new fundraising appeal that invites the hairdressing community to come together to help raise £1 million towards new operating theatres at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The operating theatres will be used to help children from all over the UK who require specialist neurosurgery.

Gigi’s Hair & Beauty will be organising various events during March and April to help raise money for the hospital including:

Selling Raffle Tickets for various Prizes including – Lunch Vouchers from Subway; Gigi’s Hair & Beauty £50 Salon Voucher; 2 x Glad Photo Studio Photo Shoot Vouchers (value £50 each); Hair Product Hamper worth £50; Bottles of Wine from Central Beers and Minerals and many more.

Gigi’s will also be opening on Sunday 21^st March 2010 when staff will dress in fancy dress and doing various activities, including coloured braids for children in the Harvey Centre Mall to raise money. This will be a special one-off Sunday opening for the store.

“We are asking our customers to add a £1 donation to their bill during March and April 2010.”
