Bryan Young, Centre Manager of the Harvey Centre in Harlow, enjoyed a 'return to retail' on Tuesday when he spent the day working on the shop floor with the retail team at Harvey Centre store Bhs. (Bryan is pictured with Justyna Bonerska and Hussain 'Harry' Gotzuk).

Bryan spent the day working with staff in every area of the store, from stock control and behind the scenes management to the 'coal face' on the shop floor and in the store's ever-popular café; getting to know the Centre's customers on an even closer level.

Said Bryan, "This was a fantastic opportunity to get involved with one of our key stores during the most important period of the shopping year. The day was arranged as part of Savills Commercial Ltd commitment to continue to work closely with our retailers, to ensure that every part of their business is both understood and supported by the work of their Centre Management teams.

"Everything we do is driven by our desire to ensure that the service we provide to the stores and our customers is first class and I was delighted that Bhs was able to provide me with the opportunity to gain an insight into their business and its unique requirements. I will be sharing some of these key issues with the Centre's own team as part of our continuing effort to provide the best possible service for our shops and I look forward to my team working in units during 2012."

Paul Green, Bhs store manager said, "It was great to have Bryan in the store and to strengthen the relationship between us and the Centre and we look forward to having him back in the future!"
