Powerhouse Nutrition open and working on Harlow's fitness

Powerhouse Nutrition was set up in August of this year by Tauseef Asri, an internationally renowned photographer for the fitness industry and has been trading in Playhouse Walk in the Harvey Centre for the past few weeks.

Tauseef's background led him to working for some of the biggest Fitness and Bodybuilding magazines available including Ultra-FIT, Muscle & Fitness, Oxygen and FLEX. His work gave him the opportunity to meet the owners of a number of supplement companies and gain a real insight in to what goes into developing their products. He also had the benefit of working with top athletes such as Amir Khan, Josh Lewsey, Gavin Henson, David Haye and Dwain Chambers. All of this as well as working with some of the top bodybuilders on the planet has given him a wealth of knowledge and experience he believe will ultimately benefit his customers.

Having joined the gym at the tender age of 18 he was always been interested in weight training, proper nutrition and supplementation and now with over 20 years of experience under his belt, decided that Harlow needed a decent supplement store.

Powerhouse Nutrition stocks all the major brands that are not only the best in the UK but also the best in the world; indeed they stock many lines that are not readily available in most gyms or other shops. In addition, Tauseef and his team offers advice on training, diet and supplementation and to ensure that all their customers to see real results with the products they stock. Hence their determination not to any cheap inferior products which don't work.

Having lived in Harlow for over 30 years and having been a member at some stage of all the major gyms in the town, Tauseef has got to know a number of people who are very excited that Harlow finally has a decent supplement store.

Powerhouse Nutrition not only caters for the serious gym user but also people that want to lose weight and tone up, offering a range of fat burners and lean diet shakes to drink after the gym or as a meal replacement. Clients have included cyclists and runners visiting the store to purchase products to use after a race to replenish essential electrolytes and carbohydrates to aid recovery.
