Recycling, refreshing and refurbishing!
Nazila's Lash Brow Beauty Salon, first floor JP's Hair Salon, 22 Broad Walk
Recent visitors to the Harvey Centre can hardly have failed to notice the arrival of new tenants and the expansion or refurbishment of existing tenants in what has been an exciting period for the Centre.
Visitors to the Centre will have seen that two new Gold/jewellery recycling businesses have opened. Lloyd’s Gold Recycling is based in Kiosk 5 Playhouse Walk and has been in the Centre since September. They have had a good response from the public to their family-run business and like other reputable jewellery recyclers, recommend that customers shop-around to get a good idea of the value of their property before committing themselves to any one buyer.
The other gold recycling business is Herbert Brown which opened its 40th store in Harlow in November at 37 Harvey Centre and who report the business as going “brilliantly”. They have also had a good response from the Harlow public and urge people to shop around. They offer an obligation-free quotation and good rates for gold, tracked against the international daily rate.
Style-conscious shoppers will also have seen that two new health, hair and beauty salons have opened recently, which mean a great opportunity for shoppers to recycle the money released from unwanted jewellery into a bit of pampering!
JP’s Hair and Beauty opened its doors at 22 Broad Walk before Christmas and has enjoyed great popularity with shoppers looking for the latest looks, hair and beauty treatments. Owner Martine Perrin has been a hairdresser for 25 years and opened her second salon with her three daughters, one of whom is a hairdresser and the other two who are beauticians. Indeed, it has been a real family affair with her husband in charge of the salon refurbishment itself.
Fans of the Asian beauty technique eyebrow ‘threading’ have been visiting Nazila’s Lash Brow Nails next to the Lottery Kiosk for several years now and will be delighted to know that Nazila has opened a beauty salon at 74 Harvey Centre on the first floor, Nazila’s Lash Brow Beauty. Nazila is keen to stay at the forefront of the beauty business, bringing new products, services and techniques to Harlow, including specialised Shellac nail treatments and is bringing the first fish pedicure to Harlow this week. And finally, shoppers will have seen that Wilkinson has been refurbished and recently launched with a little help from Harlow Town Football Club's Leo Roget!
